Classes & Schedules
Overview
The FSA trains in containment, confinement and decontamination, with realistic exercises using chemical protective clothing, breathing apparatus and other critical response equipment and tools. Training for hazardous materials response is so specific that federally legislated standards have been set to guide responders through advancing levels of response. In every case, FSA training meets or exceeds these requirements, emphasizing protection of people, property and the environment.

- HAZWOPER 40-Hour / Hazardous Materials Technician
- HAZWOPER 24-Hour / Hazardous Materials First Responder Operations
- Hazardous Materials On-Scene Incident Commander
- Hazardous Materials Chemistry
Important Notice Regarding Hazmat Training:
Students will conduct fieldwork in approved personal protective equipment,
including SCBA and other appropriate equipment, which can be physically
and mentally strenuous.
