Course Description

Instructional Delivery

This 40-hour course helps train instructors to be effective in all areas, especially emergency response and management. The course stresses confidence, presentation techniques and skills necessary to become a more proficient instructor. Classroom instruction addresses teaching toward behavioral objectives; presenting cognitive lesson plans; developing the ability to speak in public; methods of instruction; psychology of learning; student evaluations and communications. During the course, student presentations are videotaped, evaluated and critiqued.

There are no prerequisites for this course.
