Course Description

Annual Wildland Refresher Training

This NWCG compliant course (RT-130) will cover the review of Wildland Fire Safety Principles such as entrapment avoidance, fire shelter use and annual deployment qualification, hazards, LCES, 10/18, safety issues and current fire issues. Refresher training will ensure firefighters and support personnel have the skills to recognize and mitigates risks, maintain safe and effective practices, and to reduce accidents and near misses. Emphasis is placed on class discussion and interaction. This course will satisfy annual recurrent training requirements for fire personnel.

Students will be required to successfully complete appropriate level PACK Test.

Important Notice Regarding Wildland Training:
Participants to have previous Wildland certification at appropriate level. Proof of current physical from a medical physician indicating student's ability to participate in the associated work capacity test will be required.
